Paris-Tours set for a Titanic Battle
The 252.5 kilometre Paris-Tours on the 9th of october is set for a titanic battle between the world's best sprinters as they take adavantage of one of the last chances for glory before the World Championships.
The 110th edition of Paris-Tours will this year welcome an exceptionally dense field of sprinters: Cavendish, Greipel, Boonen, Démare, Bouhanni, Coquard, Ewan, Matthews and Viviani will in particular be present, as well as Olympic road race champion Greg van Avermaet.
One week before the World Championships in Doha, the prestigious classic Paris-Tours will be the last major race of the 2016 season.
