As the Cannondale/Cyclocrossworld.com train departed from the start line in Boulder today, Tim Johnson was in the new position of both debuting and defending the NACT leader’ jersey. Fortunately, Johnson’s Sunday race ended with identical results with Johnson leading to the line with 36 seconds over his nearest rival/team mate Jeremy Powers.

The Cannondale team once again swept the podium with Johnson,  Jeremy Powers, and Jamey Driscoll topping all the steps. With one more weekend in the North American Cyclocross Trophy series, Johnson and his teammates look to have the NACT comfortably locked up. Geoff Kabush (Maxxis/Rocky Mountain) and Jeremy Horgan Kobelski (Subaru/Gary Fisher) finished  a minute off Johnson's pace to fill out the filled out the top five.

Once again it was the Katie Compton show as the UCI World Cup leader swept to the finish leading her nearest rival Amy Dumbrowski by an impressive 2:47.

Saturday's second place finisher Georgia Gould did not start on Sunday. Her place in second was taken by Amy Dombroski (Richard Sachs - Rgm Watches). Alison Dunlap (Luna Chix) a picture of consistency took the last step on the podium in third place 2:55 off Compton's pace.

Meredith Miller (Cal Giant Berry Farm), and Kelli Emmett (Giant) filled out the top five in that order.

The final NACT races are at the Whitmore’s Landscaping Super Cross Event, November 21 and 22 in Southampton, New York.

Historically seen as the highest paying cyclocross race in North America, Whitmore's Landscaping Super Cross Cup is the North American Cyclocross Trophy series finale. Set in the idyllic Hamptons, only 90 minutes from Manhattan, it's aptly viewed as a playground for the rich and famous of New York. Known more for beaches and polo grounds, it's rapidly becoming a featured event on many top cyclocross racer's calendars. The super fast, physically demanding course features a who's who of the North American cross scene, with past winners including Erwin Vervecken, Ryan Trebon, Tim Johnson, Barry Wicks, and Mark McCormack.
